Operation Hyacinth

Web Monday, a community I started on a trip to Germany back in late 2005 in an effort to spread some Silicon Valley goodness, has grown to become one of the major events there to focus on the people and startups who invent and build the future of the internet. Web Mondays are now being held in over 30 places in and around Germany.

For more than two years now, the website (consisting of just a wiki and — more recently — a blog) has remained unchanged. Time to give it a little overhaul.

A couple of days ago, I kicked off the relaunch project (codenamed “Hyacinth”). We’re looking for a few more people to help with screendesign, logo work, Wordpress templating, wiki sysadmin tasks and the like. If you’re willing to lend a hand, please sign up on the wiki: Relaunch 2008

If all goes well, we’ll have us a kick-ass new website by the end of April.
